The reason that I come to Toyota is because of the great service that Paul and Andy provide. I share that with anyone I know and I will continue to share about the wonderful professional service I am always given at Ballweg from Paul and Andy.
The service was excellent, and the staff very knowledgeable. I was in and out ahead of time allotted, which I love. And the total bill was exactly as expected. Finally, I really appreciate that you immediately sent me an Outlook calendar invite when I scheduled the appointment. This small touch helps a lot in planning my work days.
I showed up unannounced to have my headlight bulb replaced. They took my car and completed my repair before I could even finish my cookie! They were very accomodating and I was frankley surprised that they were able to get me on my way so quickly. Excellent service.
It is always a joy coming to Toyota for my oil-changes etc. for our van. I always have a good laugh with Paul and the guys.
Just a note of thanks for the great work done. I have been very satisfied with the care I have gotten since I became a Toyota owner a year ago! Every time that I have brought the car in for an oil change I have gotten an email making sure that I have been satisfied with the work. The 3 Subaru's that I leased and finally bought, all the times I had them in for repairs, NEVER did I get any forms to find out if I was satisfied with the work that was done. Anyhow, I am please to say that I will remain a loyal Toyota owner!

My experience was excellent. Andy was a life saver. I was in La Crosse on business for 2 days and was eager to start my trip home to kohler, wi when I heard a noise in my car. He diagnosed it and fixed it prompty. I was very distressed, being on the road, out of town and having car trouble. He went above and beyond and gave me a loaner car to get to my customer appointments. He also called the Lexus dealer for additional information AND registered all repair work throughToyota and Lexus which made it easy for me to call Lexus and ask for them to pay the bill.
Again, excellent customer service and a life saver as I was very distressed.

Excellent as usual. I have come to enjoy the staff and consider them friends. In addition to my scheduled oil change I had them install a tonneau cover that I purchased at Ballweg. I love it and I was shown how to use the cover and yes we walked around the vehicle. All work was completed ahead of schedule.
Appears to me that everyone at Ballweg is wonderful to work with from scheduling to shuttle service to actual work performed.
As usual, Andy was awesome. He provides great customer service and I am really glad that he is working when I bring my vehicle in for service.
I am always concerned about being taken advantage of because of coming in alone...(without a husband in tow)....and Andy explains my vehicle issues so that I understand what is needed now and what can wait until my finances allow.

Yes, I would say the service was excellent, especially the man who'd arranged for my repair. I can't remember his name, don't think it was Andy. If it was, he did a great job. Seems like you all have "stepped up" your customer service since the last time I've had the occasion to bring my Prius in. All I had to do was drop it off, as it was already scheduled, parts ordered and such. Thank you.
We continue to be happy with the service we receive from Midwest Toyota. We are especially pleased about the inspection that uncovered the fact that the seal on the oil pan needed to be replaced. That happened as a result of the good work by the responsible mechanic. We will continue to use your service in the future and thanks for the good work.

This afternoon I brought in my Prius for the first oil change at 5000 miles. I met Mr. Kou Yang, who had emailed me earlier that he would now be available to me. Since the salesman I had worked with when I bought the Prius in January, was no longer with the company. I want to tell you that Mr. Yang was very patient with answering my questions and showing me how to use several features of the car that had confused me. He was very pleasant and willing to help.
I appreciate your service and the comfortable waiting area I could use while waiting for my car. I came to your company at the recommendation of my friend, and will join her in recommending your dealership in the future.
I am taking the time to respond, as your "guys" gave me very good service. I was especially impressed with Andy Heichel. Our 2009 Prius had a warning light come on which my wife thought was very serious, but it turned out to be the security system which ... she had never noticed before.
It meant a lot to me that you were able to take care of my concern (and change the oil!) the same morning that I called.
My experience was stellar. Paul Apfel was organized, thoughtful and deliver outstanding service. Even organized a loaner car. Martin Blanos did a great job carefully explaining the need for further repairs. Outstanding people to work with – very pleased with my car and the extra efforts of Paul and Martin.

I had excellent service. And, it began last week when I brought my car in one morning when it has started making a noise. I think it was Martin who helped me then. After some discussion about what it might be and whether it was safe to drive short distances, I made an appointment for yesterday's service -- I was also ready for my 30,000. Within two hours of having dropped it off, I had a phone call with news about the noise, something less complicated than what I had anticipated. An hour later all work was done and the car was ready.
I moved here from Chicago in October and I have brought my car there several time. Each time I have appreciated the friendliness and thoroughness of the staff. Early on when I was getting a minor service I mentioned that in Chicago I had been told that I would soon need new brakes. Your tech looked at it and reported that I have about 50% of my brakes left. I knew then that I had found a trustworthy service center.
Yesterday was no exception.

I just totally loved the way I was treated at the dealership. Mr. Sing was awesome! Mr. Sing went over everything with my husband and I, (he) wanted to make sure we both knew how to work all the accessories. It was fast and easy and I wasn't treated any differently because I was a women. This spring we are hoping to purchase another vehicle from this dealership. Because we loved the way we were greeted and treated at the dealership.
Since I had bought a Prius from Toby before, he was acquainted with my needs and did his best to serve me. They seemed to take personal interest in my situation.
This is the second car we have bought at this dealership. It has just changed hands, but if the new owner continues on like the last, everything should be just fine. I have had my other car maintained on a regular basis for 6 years, and have been very satisfied.

An excellent job overall. The Salesman made sure all my questions were answered. He worked with me to find what I wanted and was very patient. He did not pressure me, but he made sure I was able to test drive different vehicles so that I was aware of the options I had. It was a very good experience. I trusted him and knew that he was working with me to find what I wanted.
Just thought I'd update your files on this little car. The trip to Kansas City,MO was without incident. Even the 113 degree, and 71% dew points could not hurt the little guy. I drove between 62 and 70 mph from here to Altamont,MO (about 61 miles short of KC,MO) on the first tank of gas. I filled up 10.04 gallons with 411.6 miles on the odometer. Ya with the AC on, Automatic Trans, no cruise control and about 600 pounds of people and luggage. The best mileage I got was in Minnesota on the return trip, averaged 42.3 mpg. I kept the little guy between 62 and 67 mph. I think if you leave him at 55 to 58 mph, 45.0 mpg is possible. So, all total, 1172.4 miles on 28.592 gals, and the avg mpg for the trip was 41.0 on the button.
Cost of gas, 78.17 cents. Cost of repairs, zero dollars, Accident repairs, zero dollars, putting a 1200 miles in a weekend and still under 11000 miles on my 08 Yaris.....Priceless.
You guys were closed today at 3pm, some kind of party for being the best Toyota Dealer..well dah....Could of told you guys that years ago when I bought my Tonka truck from you. So I didn't get to show you the gas slips...Thanks again for going the distance when I bought my little guy. The best car I have every owned. You guys/ladies do deserve the honor, from service, parts, sales, body shop and everyone in the back ground, well even the boss.
There is one problem though, at this rate, you will be retired by the time I need a new 'yota. Of course, I could buy a new "Tonka" ...ok, good used one, maybe.... See ya one of these days, thinking about a full body polish for the little guy, soon.

I felt compelled to contact someone to commend Paul Apfel on his excellent customer service with me today at Midwest Toyota. I had pretty much decided to stop bringing my Toyota Camry to Midwest Toyota for servicing any longer. However, after dealing with Paul today, I have decided to continue to come to Midwest Toyota.
My husband and I purchased my 2005 Camry at Midwest Toyota about two years ago. We were told that brand new "70,000 mile" tires were just put on the car. Since purchase, we have had the car serviced every 5000 miles at your service center. In August, the service technician wrote that all 4 tires were "7s"; 5000 miles later in early October, they were marked as being "3s" (rear tires) and "4s" (front tires). At this October servicing, I was told that I should get new tires before winter and that you were having a tire sale in October (buy 3, get one free). I went home and discussed this with my husband. We found it rather puzzling how my tires went from "7s" to "3-4s" so quickly and why I needed new tires when these only had 40,000 miles on them!
I brought my car in today and Paul was the person that waited on me. I explained my question about my tires and he got a tire gauge and measured each tire/each tread and wrote all the readings down and explained to me how they arrive at the overall tread. He then discussed his findings on the tires, in my presence, with the Service Manager (I think that would have been Jason Walker) and it was determined that I really was not in need of new tires and that the tread that I had was what would be expected at approx 40,000 miles.
I am not sure what was going on in October: inconsistency of how one technician measures tread depth compared to another, the desire to sell tires, or something else? Anyway, my faith in your service department has been restored due to my interactions with Paul Apfel today and I think he should be commended!

Thank you so much for your follow-up. I would rate my service as excellent. I have just moved here from Chicago and was relieved that there was a Toyota Dealership in La Crosse. But I was really pleased with the service I got. I called to make an appointment for an oil change, and I was told I could come in any time. My car was finished before the 45 minutes allotted. But best of all -- I told Paul that I had been told at the dealership in Chicago, where I bought the car and got it serviced, that the next time I came in, I would need new brakes. He had the tech check it out and reported that I have 50% of their use-life left to go!!! I'll be back for my next service.
I just wanted to let you know what a gem you have in Paul! When I first started dealing with your service department I wasn't terribly impressed - the service was there, but I didn't feel like I was important as a customer. Then I found Paul - and now I feel more welcome and important every time I visit! I've even noticed that his attitude seems to reflect positively on all those around him...tell him to keep up the good work!

The service I received from Paul Apfel and your courtesy driver Mr. Nesbitt was OUTSTANDING!! I brought my van in for a routine scheduled oil change and when I arrived I asked if the recalled spare tire could also be fixed (my tire has been in the back of my van for the past several months). Paul and the rest of your maintenance staff made it a priority to complete both my oil change and the recall repair in a very short time. Paul was very specific (and accurate) regarding how long it may take and Mr. Nesbitt was very punctual with both dropping me off and picking me up with the courtesy shuttle. Again the service I received was outstanding!!
